When productions become available to stream you will be able to purchase a viewing pass and choose a 48-hour window to view the recording. Our continuing goal is to bring the light of art and theatre into your lives even if we can’t be “together” at our beautiful home, The Waterfront South Theatre. In the meantime, we hope you’ll let us bring that theatrical light into your home to help us conquer the darkness.

The Philadelphia bar that gives its name to “Daphne’s Dive”, in this warm-spirited play, is the kind of place where everybody knows your name, to borrow from a sitcom song. The folks who gather at Daphne’s, however, are markedly different from the Bostonians who cracked wise during a certain long-running show set in a neighborhood pub.
STREAMING IN JUNE, 2021
Our final production will be Tarell Alvin McCraney’s amazing work, “The Brothers Size”. This is considered the greatest piece of writing by an American playwright under 30 in a generation or more. With his original and singular voice, McCraney crafts an intense story about the unbreakable bond between brothers, a bond that is equal parts love and despair.
STREAMING IN OCTOBER, 2021
Anchoring The Neighborhood Arts Scene
Please help us keep the light of theatre and art burning brightly here in Camden by supporting our theatre with a gift to SCTC during this time of giving. Your gift will help us continue to bring professional theatre to our stage. A gift of $50, $100 or $500 will help us to meet our goal of $10,000 to help cover the costs of running the theatre and producing our productions.
South Camden Theatre Company and The Waterfront South Theatre are essential members of the growing arts district and association in the Waterfront South neighborhood. We were the first arts organization formed and are considered the anchor of this thriving arts community. South Camden Theatre Company is also a professional theatre company. Your donation of any size will help us to meet the demands of producing four main stage productions each season along with running the Waterfront South Theatre building. Camden FireWorks, an artist loft space & gallery, The Camden Shipyard and Maritime Museum, Brigid’s House and the Nick Virgilio Writers House along with the existing artist studio of Mickey McGrath’s BeeStill Studios, and Camden’s Center For Environmental Transformation, and the Heart Of Camden‘s, Michael J. Doyle Field House, and the Camden Sophisticated Sisters, you’ll find plenty of art, theatre, history, gardening and more in the Waterfront South Arts neighborhood. The Areas Hottest Off-Broadway Theatre
The Waterfront South Theatre, located just a block west of Broadway and Ferry Avenues in the historic Waterfront South neighborhood of Camden, is the first theatre built in Camden, New Jersey in more than 100 years. This gorgeous state-of-the-art theater was designed to be reminiscent of Walt’s Cafe, the bar, that once stood on this corner until 1967. Thanks to the Heart of Camden, The Domenica Foundation, Ignarri Lummis Architects, and others, this grand space has been home to South Camden Theatre Company since the fall of 2010.
Funding has been made possible in part by the Camden County Cultural & Heritage Commission at Camden County College, through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
