About The South Camden Theatre Company
SCTC was incorporated on October 6, 2005. We are a professional theatre company. We work hard to produce our shows with paid actors, directors and designers. We are lead by a non-profit theatre board. The individuals who work on the board of directors are all volunteers. They do what they do out of love for theatre and for the community. Together, we produce some of the best theatre productions in the area. Your attendance and support are what we need to help us meet our goals. Please join us. You’ll be impressed with what you see on our stage. We promise you won’t be disappointed.
As Camden’s first professional theater we enhance the community by creating quality artistic productions while anchoring The Waterfront South Arts District. We strive to promote South Camden’s rebirth as a destination by providing a positive experience for its residents and those from the surrounding region. Our goal is to entertain, engage, and educate.
Our Vision & Values
To become an artistic center of excellence in the city of Camden and the Delaware Valley.
• Equality • Honesty • Collaboration • Professionalism • Excellence • Stewardship

Here is what the theatre company is doing to keep you, our staff, and artists safe and comfortable while in our building.
Our Staff: All of our staff members and artists have been fully vaccinated.
Cleaning: We will clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces before every show. Our venue is cleaned before every event.
Mask Policy: Our mask policy changes based on the latest CDC and Actors Equity Association Guidance. Please check back regularly to see our most recent mask policy. Currently, masks are optional at all of our productions.
Vaccination Policy: We require our Staff and Artists to be vaccinated. Based on the latest CDC and Actor’s Equity Association Guidance, we may have specific audience policies regarding providing proof of Vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. We are not currently requiring proof of vaccination.
Contactless transactions: When possible, buy your tickets in advance so that we may reduce the time you need to spend at the box office or in line. Your experience can be touchless if your purchase is complete before you arrive. If you need to buy tickets to the show at the box office, we will strive to make your experience as smooth and quick as possible.
Hand Sanitizer: Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance of our facility.
HVAC: Our theatre heating and air conditioning/circulation system has been replaced to meet CDC-recommended standards.
Refunds and Exchanges: Your ticket will be refunded if we need to cancel a performance. If you need to reschedule your visit for health reasons, you may do so for any performance throughout the season with a ticket of equal value when they are available.
