The South Camden Theatre Company is holding auditions for its 2018 season.
Auditions for all roles are by appointment ONLY and will be held at the Waterfront South Theatre (400 Jasper St., Camden, N.J.) on Sunday, June 25th (12pm-6pm) and Monday, June 26th (7pm-10pm). Call backs will be scheduled at a later date. For an appointment please email production manager Ashley Reiter (ashley@southcamdentheatre.org) with your resume and a recent head shot.
Actors should be prepared to perform an appropriate 1-2 minute monologue. All auditions by appointment only, non-equity only. A small stipend will be paid. Shows and roles are as follows:

ROLES:
MARTY MURPHY – male lead, 55-65 – blue-collar, a community man with a fierce sense of loyalty and of the way the world should work. Tough but charming. Capable of changing moods on a dime.
MARY MURPHY – female lead, 55-65 – a woman of faith, sweet but never saccharine. A loving mother and very devoted wife, who has made a life out of looking past the faults of those she loves.
SAL MURPHY – male lead, 30-40 – ambitious, smart, a born-again Manhattanite. An innate sense of humor and warmth have been chipped away at by an unforgiving family, but they’re still there.
BRIAN MURPHY – male supporting, 28-35 – a recovering user and all-around bad ass. Inherited his father’s charm and quick laugh; until a recent stint in prison, he lived a dangerously charmed life of being rewarded for the wrong things.
PHILIP CARTER – male supporting, 55-65 – a retired auto-mechanic/body-shop owner, a friendly man with an easy sense of humor, a natural peacekeeper.
ANDREA CARTER – female supporting, 55-65 – funny, shrewd, and opinionated;the kind of great friend and strong woman who quickly becomes more sister than friend.
EMILY MANCINI – female supporting, 28-35 – Brian’s former high school sweetheart; now a wry, self-aware woman coming to terms with a crumbling marriage and the fact that life at 30 doesn’t look like what she thought it would.
