"Youth In America" portrays four stories of the challenging situations that today's young people face every day. From High School to Columbine to college life, the challenge of growing up in America is shown in a provocative and thoughtful way.

Youth In America is a compilation of 4 short plays. "On The Wings of Sparrows", "Drop Period", "Waiting Tables", and "Dressing for School".

This play first premiered at Rutger's University, Camden for 3 nights before moving to the Sacred Heart Basement theatre for a run from October 17-26, 2008. Audience members were so taken by the productions that they were unable to applaud as the final lights dimmed. Instead they sat in a stunned silence at the reality that had just taken place before them.

"A stellar example of a local theatre company whose work is simply riveting."

Grazeilla DiNuzzo-D'Amelio, Communications Manager Rutgers-Camden Center for the Arts
