"Mass Appeal"
By Bill C. Davis
Directed by Joseph M. Paprzycki
This show was produced at our Sacred Heart Church basement theatre on February 6 - 22, 2009.
Though steeped in Catholic symbolism and culture, the play appeals across denominational and traditional religious lines. It is a story of how we can lose ourselves and what is essential in our humanity, and how we can find redemption in letting go of our fears. It is then that we can love. This is the universal, if hopeful, truth of the masses that make up our human family.
On opening night, February 6, the world famous playwright, Bill C. Davis attended the show. Before the show, he was escorted on a tour around Camden and had dinner with Monsignor Michael Doyle. After the show, Bill attended the after party.
