SEASON 7 CONTINUES WITH A THEATRE FESTIVAL STYLE WEEKEND EVENT! ONE WEEKEND ONLY!
Tennessee Williams Into The Future is a theatrical event like no other.
The production includes a black box style production of one of Tennessee Williams’s one act plays, "The Case of the Crushed Petunias". Directed by Producing Artistic Director, Joseph M. Paprzyck and cast with young actors from high school and college age. This production will give these young actors and you a look at some of Tennesee's other fine work.
Petunias will serve as a “curtain raiser” for a staged-reading of Williams’s masterpiece, "The Glass Menagerie". Directed by "Suddenly Last Summer" director, Connie Norwood, this “Glass Menagerie” will be like no other when an all African American cast takes to the stage.
A talk back will follow these unique productions and will be moderated by STAGE Magazine critic, Jack Shaw, who will lead the exploration of Tennessee’s relevance to youth and explore the non-traditional casting in a Williams play.
Join us for this very special event. Tickets: Students $10. — General Admission $15.
